John McEwan-Whyte

CEO & Founder

John is an award-winning filmmaker and the creative force behind Bonnie & Braw. As the founder of Bonnie & Braw, a company dedicated to bringing Scotland’s stories to life, John has collaborated with BBC Scotland, Screen Scotland, and Aardman on a number of acclaimed projects. His work spans film, theatre, and animation, with award-winning documentaries and shorts earning recognition at international festivals.

Rosie Jones

Bonnie & Braw Cartùns - Production Coordinator

Rosie’s work ranges from theatre, short films, feature films and television, all primarily in the Children’s content space. She has worked on international productions in New Zealand and the UK. Her work across both live action and animation projects include; Nikhil & Jay (CBeebies), Yakka Dee (CBeebies), Milkshake! (Channel 5), The Kiddets (ABC) and 199 Little Heroes (TVNZ).

Lorna MacDonald

Bonnie & Braw - Junior Producer

Lorna is a Junior Producer and Film Intern at Bonnie and Braw, studying BA (Hons) Mass Communications at Edinburgh Napier University. Lorna is also a filmmaker based in Edinburgh and Glasgow. She is passionate and driven, with a growing portfolio of creative work across documentary and short film.
